Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Graduate Radiographer to join our team.

You will follow our Graduate Preceptorship scheme and during the preceptorship you will gain experience in MRI.

If you are a newly qualified radiographer or in your final year of study, then this is the opportunity for you. This is a dynamic role, and to support your learning, Alliance Medical has a robust Clinical Competency Framework and can provide the essential training you will need to help you learn and develop your skills and knowledge. You will follow our Graduate training scheme and Clinical Competency Pathway and be supported on this pathway by our mentors and assessors. You will see your skills develop and salary increase as you progress through the key stages of your training. The training will be 'on the job.'

The starting salary is in line with AFC Band 5.

The hours for this role are 40 hours per week, Monday – Sunday. There is no on-call commitment for this role.

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff.

You will also be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role. Rest assured, should you not have any prior experience in IV cannulation, Alliance Medical will provide full training. Hep B immunisation is necessary for this role.

We are inviting applications from Student Radiographers, but to start your role you must hold a BSc/MSc in Radiography or other recognised qualification, have current UKHCPC Registration or be eligible for or in the registration process for UKHCPC.

Alliance Medical operates a robust pre-employment screening process for all roles which includes the following checks: Identity, right to work in the UK, Professional registration and qualifications, Employment history and references (for the previous 5 years), Criminal record and barring (Standard or Enhanced DBS check) and Occupational health assessments. All offers of employment are subject to satisfactory completion of these checks.

Alliance Medical is committed to ensuring that recruitment and selection practices are conducted in a manner that promotes equality of opportunity.
