Job description

Associate Partner / Partner – Retail Lease Advisory

The Company

Harvey Spack Field was established in 1979 and have been at the forefront of the retail warehouse, foodstore and leisure markets for over 30 years.

Job Purpose

A key focus will be implementing value added asset management strategies for both landlord and occupier clients, through undertaking rent reviews, lease renewals, lease restructures and investment purchase ERV advice.

Main Duties

  1. Undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals on behalf of both landlord and occupier clients.
  2. Providing the investment team with ERV advice and adding to the business plan on acquisitions.
  3. Identifying opportunities to add value for both landlord and occupier clients through proactive, strategic and well thought out advice.
  4. Able to demonstrate ownership and accountability and make direct recommendations to both landlord and occupier clients.
  5. Working collaboratively with Harvey Spack Field’s asset management and investment teams.

Qualifications

  1. Qualified as a Chartered Member of the RICS.
  2. At least 5 years post qualification experience.
  3. A solid knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation.
  4. A strong understanding of the out-of-town retail property sector.
  5. Hardworking.
  6. Detailed and technically competent.
  7. Good analytical skills, articulate and numerate.
  8. Ability to work well as part of a busy and close-knit team.
