Wayman Group is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced French teacher to join a brilliant independent school in Enfield. This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date in April. As a French teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the field of French language and culture. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and supportive team of educators, dedicated to providing a high-quality education to students.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging French lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to ensure effective learning experiences.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support as needed.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and supports student well-being.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional strategies.
Participate in department meetings and professional development opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in French or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Proven experience teaching French to primary or secondary school students.
Excellent command of the French language, both written and verbal.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the French curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Ability to effectively differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Organized, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
Familiarity with current educational technology and learning tools.
Valid work authorization to work in the United Kingdom.
