Job description

Wayman Group is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced French teacher to join a brilliant independent school in Enfield. This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date in April. As a French teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the field of French language and culture. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and supportive team of educators, dedicated to providing a high-quality education to students.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging French lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to ensure effective learning experiences.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support as needed.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and supports student well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional strategies.
  • Participate in department meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in French or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching French to primary or secondary school students.
  • Excellent command of the French language, both written and verbal.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the French curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Ability to effectively differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Organized, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with current educational technology and learning tools.
  • Valid work authorization to work in the United Kingdom.
