Area Sales Manager - Automotive

4. My client is looking for someone with a successful field-based sales background, selling products into the automotive sector - workshops, body shops, garages.
5. As Area Sales Manager, you will have responsibility for selling the company's range of power tools and equipment into the automotive sector - workshops, body shops, garages.
6. Developing and maintaining existing relationships with end users, your remit will be maintaining existing business and creating new business opportunities across the territory, building on the strength of the brand.
7. Demonstrating the range of products and accessories to an existing and new customer base and converting automotive sector customers - workshops, body shops, garages - to the company brand.
8. Identifying and developing market sector opportunities for new product applications.
9. To be successful as my client's new Area Sales Manager, you will possess well-honed account management and new business development skills and a strong determination to succeed, together with a background in field-based sales to the automotive sector - workshops, body shops, garages.
10. You will be a hard-working, ambitious, confident, enthusiastic, resilient and goal-oriented Sales professional with an ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
11. You will have excellent relationship building skills and the ability to spot and optimise opportunities.
12. Excellent communication and presentation skills will come easily to you, together with strong negotiation, commercial and analytical skills.
