Co-Founder, FincSelect | Headhunter for Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance

2 days a week in office / 3 from home

This Financial Crime Technology role involves helping financial institutions and FinTechs improve systems for detecting and preventing financial crime through analysis, design, and optimisation—particularly in areas like transaction monitoring, customer screening, and fraud detection.

Success in this role requires strong analytical and technical skills, coding ability, and a solid grasp of financial crime regulations.

Core skills required:

  • Strong data engineering and analytics skills, including SQL, and Excel
  • Understanding of relational databases and data normalisation
  • Excellent consulting skills, including presentation, verbal, and written communication
  • Applied understanding of fraud and financial crime controls and technology, such as customer screening, payment screening, customer risk assessment models, transaction monitoring, and fraud detection
