About Us
Our Children & Families Service works in a highly challenging, yet highly rewarding environment to manage child-in-need and child protection cases as well as cases in legal proceedings and looked after children. Working together with children and their families, we use restorative practice to achieve positive long-term and sustainable outcomes for all. Building happier, healthier and safer environments for children and young people in Devon is at the heart of our service and to achieve this we develop supportive partnerships that encourage and empower children and families in unlocking their individual strengths and values.
About the Role
As an Experienced Social Worker, you will model high standards of professional social work practice and will be used to working at pace, within a high pressurised environment. You will advocate for the children and young people of Devon and understand the importance of regular purposeful visits, and providing good quality assessments to ensure improved consistent outcomes for them. The casework will be varied, and you will be working creatively to promote positive long-term change.

South Team – Follaton House, Totnes
