Our client is looking for a Night Shift Forklift Driver to work at a location in the Portsmouth area!

Our client is seeking skilled and reliable candidates to join its growing team as a Night Shift Forklift Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move materials around the warehouse during night shifts. This role requires keen attention to detail, a commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
2. Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
3. Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the maintenance team.
4. Adhere to safety procedures at all times.
5. Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking and recording materials movement.
6. Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse.

Key Skills & Experience:

1. Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a busy warehouse environment.
2. Valid forklift operator certification.
3. Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
4. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying temperatures.
5. Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
6. Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
7. Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
