This covers the latest news and trends from Gen-Z’s forward thinking perspective on fashion, sneakers, beauty, art, music, and youth culture. Our omnichannel approach, combined with the captivating content we produce, have helped us amass a fast-growing international audience of over 1.6million users. We are now looking for a skilled and talented London based Project Director to join our team on a full-time basis.

Core tasks and duties :

  • Manage projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
  • Coordinating internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and define budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments.
  • Analyse project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
  • Manage relationships across major brand partners to create meaningful, impactful and original activations.
  • Supporting development of business and brand partnership decks (including client proposals).
  • Proof-checking materials.
  • Cost up projects and ensure budgets are adhered to.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire younger team members, fostering an environment of going above and beyond.
  • Provides strategic leadership and technical, operational, financial and managerial leadership for successful implementation of projects.
  • Ensures projects deliver specified results and meet quality expectations.
  • Compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence.
  • Oversees all project implementation related to project management, including monitoring and reporting, financials transactions, execution of project plans and performance.
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients.
  • Briefing contractors and team members on projects.
  • Ensuring set deadlines and targets are met both by you and others.
  • Ensuring projects operate within a set budget.
  • Organising and planning client meetings, ensuring notes are taken and follow ups are shared.
  • Helping on company admin, accounts, databases and filing systems to ensure records are kept up to date and complete.
  • Implement project management tools and suggest processes to improve efficiency.

The successful candidate :

  • Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in project management in the media/creative industries.
  • Has a proven record of previous successful projects and examples.
  • Experience managing, designing, implementing and evaluating multiple projects.
  • Will possess strong awareness of the worlds of fashion, luxury lifestyle, streetwear, and their trends.
  • Will have thorough understanding of all current social media platforms, especially of interest to Gen-Z such as TikTok.
  • Will have a positive and solution-first attitude.
  • Will know how to manage individuals and solve issues in a positive manner.
  • Will know how to bring the best out of teams and help them progress.
  • Will have experience using project management tools and platforms.
  • Is extremely dynamic and eager to learn new skills.

Skills :

  • Able to work in an extremely fast-paced environment under high pressure.
  • Impeccable grasp of the English language, written and spoken.
  • Able to adapt writing style for different purposes.
  • Advanced skills in Google Suite and Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced skills in Keynote.
  • Able to take initiative and has well-developed time management skills.

This role will be based full time from CULTED’s office.
