An established industry player is seeking an IT Software Procurement Manager to join their dynamic team in the heart of London. We are currently seeking an IT Software Procurement Manager to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for many household & personal care products, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based in the City of London. This is a full-time temporary role for 6 months, requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £61,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.
The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.
ABOUT IT Procurement
This role will be supporting global services spend in the areas for ERP including Finance, Legal and Sustainability to name a few supporting the IT Portfolio lead.
In this portfolio, the business has long-term partnerships with global Tier 1 providers such as Accenture.
The successful applicant requires the capability to interact with these types of vendors in a collaborative approach while still being able to represent and defend the company’s interests.
The successful applicant will help the Portfolio lead increase efficiency by driving scale where it makes sense, decreasing fragmentation, pooling expertise across geographies, prioritizing higher impact spend areas, leveraging technology and data. Drive performance that unlocks, have a “can do attitude” and be able to hit the ground running with minimum supervision.
The role will foster and build a culture of collaboration and agility to enable an efficient project rollout. It will ensure close alignment in strategy with IT Service Line Leads, Finance partners, Legal partners, Procurement Leadership team and BU Procurement Directors by defining and utilizing a robust support network for the whole team and providing clarity on the ways of work and roles and responsibilities.
