The Role:

As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the Science Department by preparing practical experiments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth running of laboratory sessions. This is a full-time position, with a permanent contract available upon successful completion of a probation period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and setting up practical experiments for science lessons.
• Maintaining and organising laboratory equipment and chemicals.
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed in the lab.
• Assisting teachers and students during practical sessions.
• Managing stock levels and ordering new supplies when needed.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Science Technician or a strong background in science.
• Knowledge of laboratory health and safety regulations.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting education.
