Location: Ruislip (near Reading) - Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator to support high-voltage infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for estimating costs for 132kV GIS substations, ensuring accurate pricing and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for 132kV GIS substations
2. Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications
3. Work with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing
4. Identify cost risks and opportunities
5. Present estimates to senior management and project teams

Requirements

1. Experience as an Electrical Estimator (senior level preferred)
2. Strong knowledge of 132kV GIS substations
3. Ability to review technical drawings and tenders
4. Good understanding of costing and estimating software
5. Strong negotiation and communication skills
