Database Administrator - Contract, 6 Months, Inside IR35 - Insurance.
A well-respected Lloyd's Market speciality firm is searching for a SQL Database Administrator to join them on an initial 6 month contractual basis. This is a critical role within the business where you will be tasked with creating, managing, tuning, developing and remediating the Speciality Firm's internal database estate which uses SQL.
- Monitor health of the firm's databases.
- Develop, implement, and monitor database backups and recovery within an Azure environment.
- Work with development and support teams to remediate database failures.
- Proactively tune the databases using maintenance plans.
- Liaise with Managed Service provider to deploy changes to the environment.
- Experience in managing multiple databases and instances in an SQL environment.
- It is important to have experience working within the London/Lloyd's Market.
