Role: Auditor - Highways

Hours: Monday to Friday

Russell Taylor Group is looking for an Auditor with experience in testing and inspecting highway schemes. This opportunity is fully remote with travel across the UK, but availability in the evenings for some inspections will be required.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out audit activities - ISO assessments and highway schemes.
2. Plan, book and carry out assessments within agreed timescales.
3. Review and approve responses to non-conformances raised during audits within agreed timescales.
4. Accurately record and submit audit reports.
5. Be available for any technical/certification queries that may arise from clients.
6. Review test evidence and results and make certification decisions on behalf of the client.
7. Keep up to date with relevant legislation.
8. Manage diary and travel arrangements.

The Person:

1. Previous auditing experience.
2. Experience of highway schemes and ISO assessments.
3. Able to manage and keep to strict deadlines.
4. Excellent attention to detail.
5. Good IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel.
6. Ability to work under pressure.
7. Logical, methodical planning skills.
8. Excellent time management skills.
9. Excellent telephone manner.
10. Able to work as part of a team or alone.
11. Willingness to travel extensively, both in the UK and abroad.
