Our business is embarking on an exciting journey to develop innovative software products for planned care pathways within the healthcare sector. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Software Product Director who will lead and manage the comprehensive delivery of software development projects with our development partners. This key role involves nurturing communication with all stakeholders to ensure streamlined, efficient project delivery throughout its lifecycle, strictly adhering to defined scope and timelines.
The successful candidate will also engage closely with both our internal and external development teams, ensuring that project briefs and timelines are clear and consistently met and providing technical expertise when needed. We seek an individual who is not only self-sufficient but also a collaborative team player, possessing a proactive problem-solving approach and exceptional attention to detail. Your primary motivators are fulfilment and achievement, closely aligned with the core values of responsibility, integrity, and excellence, which underpin your professional satisfaction and sense of accomplishment.
Our delivery approach emphasises meticulous planning, rigorous oversight, and inspiring leadership, harnessing the advantages of iterative delivery methods for enhanced flexibility and fostering a sense of ownership within technical teams. You will bring a wealth of experience in marrying robust project management principles with Agile delivery strategies, all while maintaining a sharp focus on delivering exceptional customer value and fulfilling commitments.
Drawing on your extensive experience in a comparable role, you will collaborate closely with the Managing Director, Board Members, and Board Advisors to deliver the strategic plan. This will include assessing and identifying the necessary resource requirements to effectively support and scale the business after the successful development and launch of the software platform. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the software development arm of the company, ensuring that all key stakeholders are aligned and that the operational framework is robust enough to meet future challenges and opportunities.
The ideal candidate for this position should anticipate frequent travel to client sites, which may include locations throughout the UK as well as various international destinations. This travel is essential for conducting on-site meetings, facilitating project implementations, and providing hands-on support to ensure client satisfaction and successful outcomes. Flexibility in schedule will be required, as trips may vary in duration and location, necessitating a willingness to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
