Job description

A little bit about the role...

Due to growth within British Offsite, we’re recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join our early shift (6am-2pm). You will be responsible for quality checking our Uni-System products from build through to completion stages across the manufacturing line to ensure we're supplying the right first-time product to meet our customers' programmes and needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
  • Timely completion of relevant paperwork alongside compliance with the internal auditing system.
  • Accurately observing the methods and equipment manufacturing employees use during production; providing advice to correct errors and increase efficiency where required.
  • Effective communication with the wider Quality department to make them aware of any defects in the product(s) and how to repair them.
  • Timely communication with suppliers and distributors to inform them of potential problems and discuss solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with standards of safety, company policy, and legal regulations that apply to the product.
  • Efficiently assessing whether the finished product reflects goals set out by the original project plan.
  • Accurate reading of engineering drawings and comparing them with the finished product.
  • Ensuring digital files and reports on product quality are organised and accessible.
  • Timely final inspection and release of goods.
