Do you have a track record of driving automation, operational excellence, and leading high-performing teams? If so, this Fulfilment Centre Manager role could be your next big move.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a fast-growing, transformation-focused organisation, leading semi-automated pick, pack & despatch operations while shaping the future of fulfilment and logistics strategy. With ambitious growth plans, cutting-edge automation investments, and a clear succession path to Operations Director, this role is designed for a leader who thrives in scaling businesses, driving change, and optimising complex supply chain operations.

The Role

As Fulfilment Centre Manager, you will:

  1. Lead & optimise a high-volume, fast-paced semi-automated eFulfilment operation, managing a workforce of at least 150 operatives across multiple shifts.
  2. Drive transformational change, further embedding automation, streamlining workflows, and ensuring operational scalability.
  3. Deliver operational excellence, implementing best practices, KPI-driven performance management, and data-led decision-making.
  4. Enhance workforce productivity, fostering a high-performance culture, developing future leaders, and strengthening employee engagement.
  5. Manage P&L and cost efficiency, ensuring commercial targets and operational budgets are achieved.
  6. Collaborate cross-functionally, working closely with senior leadership, supply chain, IT, finance, and customer services teams.
  7. Lead strategic projects, including automation integration, process reengineering, and operational expansion.
What We're Looking For
  1. Leadership experience in large-scale fulfilment/logistics operations within a retailer, in-house logistics function, or third-party logistics provider (3PL).
  2. Hands-on expertise in semi-automated or automated distribution centres, with strong knowledge of pick, pack & despatch operations.
  3. Track record of managing a minimum 150 operatives, ensuring productivity, engagement, and operational efficiency.
  4. Operational transformation & project management expertise, including automation rollouts, process improvements, and strategic growth initiatives.
  5. Commercial acumen, including P&L responsibility, cost control, and budgeting.
  6. Mix of experience from both large corporate & agile SME/scale-up environments - ability to balance structure with hands-on problem-solving.
  7. Future leader mindset - ambition and capability to step into an Operations Director role as the business continues to expand.
Why This Role?
  1. Career Progression - Genuine succession planning into Operations Director.
  2. Transformation & Innovation - Be at the forefront of automation & operational excellence.
  3. High-Growth Environment - Lead within an organisation that is scaling rapidly.
  4. Make a Real Impact - Influence strategic direction, cultural change, and business growth.

If you are a visionary operational leader with the drive to scale, transform, and optimise fulfilment logistics, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and take the next step in your career!
