Quality Assurance Tester – United Kingdom (Remote)

About the job

Generis, the creator of the Enterprise Cloud Platform for Data, Business Process, and Content Management, is looking for a skilled QA Tester to join our team. As a successful candidate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our core software product – CARA by designing and executing tests, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating closely with the development team to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop manual test scripts to cover changes in our core application.
2. Review test scripts developed by other team members.
3. Execute test scripts and report results.
4. Identify and document software defects.
5. Recognize and address application design gaps.
6. Communicate effectively with the Generis team members.

Requirements

1. Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
2. At least two years of QA experience.
3. Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
4. Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
5. Enthusiasm for learning new things and taking on challenges.
6. Willingness to perform thorough investigations and not settle for superficial results.
7. Understanding that this is a serious and responsible position that requires dedication and commitment.
