The role

As a HR Business Partner, you will be absolutely key in delivering the People strategy for your client groups and the firm. You will be providing HR leadership to leaders and people managers, to deliver an outstanding people experience, manage talent effectively and deliver our business goals through our people.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Business partnering - Provide HR leadership for your client groups, developing strong trusted stakeholder relationships and deep understanding of the business objectives and challenges. Flexing your approach to ensure both short-term challenges are managed, and medium and longer-term people priorities are progressed.
  2. People Strategy and Planning - Support delivery of the BR People Strategy across your client groups, and support your client groups to develop and deliver strong medium to long term People Plans which align to the firmwide strategy.
  3. Employee Engagement – Be laser focussed on employee engagement, working with your client group and stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities to support a highly engaged workforce.
  4. Deliver the HR calendar and operational excellence - Ensure best practice is followed for all HR activities across the employee lifecycle and HR calendar including talent management, reward, workforce planning, payroll, employee relations, case management. Keeping the focus on scalable delivery of amazing employee experiences and working in close partnership with stakeholders within Blick Rothenberg and our Azets Group.
  5. Project management - Support delivery of the BR People Strategy across your client groups, and leading on specific projects in other client groups and firmwide. Supporting the Senior HR Business Partner and Head of HR with HR priorities and projects across the firm.

You will be well supported by your colleagues whilst being enabled to step up and lead in this role.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

  1. Fully CIPD Qualified or equivalent experience
  2. Strong operational generalist HR experience i.e. employee relations, performance management, reward and a broad knowledge of employment law.
  3. Has the appetite to be a true business partner, immersed in their client group rather than sitting outside as a support function
  4. Strong stakeholder management experience; building trusted relationships at a senior level and building a strong personal brand with everyone you interact with.
  5. Proactive in approach, seeking out opportunities to drive the people strategy
  6. Passionate about continuously improving what we do and how we do it as a HR team, working closely with the HRD, Head of HR, Senior HRBP and other colleagues to innovate and develop our team’s offering to the business
  7. Demonstrates excellent organisation skills and expectation management. Able to manage multiple priorities and exercise sound judgement.
  8. A really confident and respected communicator. Able to adapt personal style to audience or communication type.
  9. Uses insights from a wide range of sources including stakeholder feedback, HRMI, business data, external learning to quickly identify and grasp opportunities and issues.
  10. Existing experience gained within a professional services environment, ideally within an accountancy firm.
