Are you a Band 8a/8b Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in North London? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Title: Pharmacist (Band 8a/8b)

Location: Essex

Duration: 3-6 Month Contract

Schedule: 9:00am - 5:00pm, 30-minute lunch break, 5 days a week

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 3-6 months (with the possibility of extension)

Rate of Pay: £33ph-£42ph

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Band 8a/8b Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients. In this role, you will:

  1. Provide clinical pharmacy support to oncology wards and outpatient services
  2. Review and manage chemotherapy prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and safety
  3. Offer expert advice on cancer drug therapies, side effects, and dosage adjustments
  4. Monitor patient outcomes and medication responses in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  5. Participate in the development and delivery of clinical guidelines and protocols
  6. Ensure compliance with cancer treatment regulations and standards
  7. Contribute to the education and training of healthcare professionals on oncology pharmacy practices

Requirements:

  1. GPhC registration
  2. Extensive experience in oncology pharmacy practice
  3. Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
  4. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  5. Experience with chemotherapy and cytotoxic drugs is essential

This is a great opportunity for an experienced oncology pharmacist to make a real impact on patient care.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position requiring availability from Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. The contract duration is 3-6 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
