Private Client Solicitor

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected law firm seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their expanding Wills and Probate/Private Client team in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking firm offering a varied and rewarding role.

Job Role:

As a key member of the Private Client team, you will manage a diverse caseload, including:

• Probate: Handling estate administration from start to finish, preparing applications for Grant of Probate/Letters of Administration, and advising on inheritance tax and deeds of variation.
• Wills: Drafting, advising on, and attesting wills, with a focus on capacity assessments and tax planning.
• Trusts and Tax: Advising on and drafting trust documents while providing tax mitigation advice on inheritance tax, income tax, and capital gains tax.
• Powers of Attorney and Elder Client Services: Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney, advising on elderly client care, managing finances under Power of Attorney, and navigating social care/CHC funding.
• Court of Protection: Managing deputyship applications and ongoing compliance with court orders.

Job Requirements:

• 4+ years PQE in private client matters.
• SFE and/or STEP membership is highly advantageous.
• Strong technical expertise in probate, wills, and tax planning.
• A client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Proven experience in business development.
