Claims Audit Manager - Household Claims

Location - Leicester, London or Bexhill - Hybrid (though a strong degree of flexibility on how often you're expected to be in the office)

Role overview
You'll be leading, motivating and developing a team of Household Claims Auditors, ensuring the delivery of a robust and effective Audit function against business objectives. You'll need an appropriate technical knowledge skill base for this role as we continue our growth across our Audit team and Household Claims.

Job details - you'll need to have demonstrable experience in:

  1. Managing and leading a team of auditors to deliver against the designated audit programme and schedule.
  2. Ensuring focus on identifying and recommending business solutions to resolve systematic issues.
  3. Overseeing the delivery of balanced, accurate and evidenced feedback to Audit leaders, technical development and Insurer Services, highlighting strengths, areas of developments and providing focused solutions where appropriate.
  4. Ensuring the development of mechanisms for tracking and reporting on audit performance remains in place.
  5. Continually driving the improvement and quality of data capture, with regular reviews of internal templates to ensure root cause is clear and concise.
  6. Operate and ensure auditors adhere to an escalation procedure.

Essential skills we would love you to have:
  1. Household claims operation experience (ideally including complex/higher value claims) with a strong understanding of audit principles, scoping documents, root cause analysis and reporting.
  2. Understanding of objective setting, coaching and people development for the benefit of team members and the wider business.
  3. Strong ability to interpret and analyse data sets and able to communicate this to stakeholders in the right way.

Our interview process involves:
  1. Recruiter screening call.
  2. 1st stage interview with our Hiring Leader (1 hour via Microsoft Teams).
  3. 2nd interview with one of our other senior leaders.
