DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business, is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:

1. Performing all accounting processes in scope for your site/customer/function, such as month-end, reconciliations, and fixed assets accounting, while ensuring to meet all KPI requirements.
2. Getting to know your customer/site inside out, acting as a trusted advisor and providing expert knowledge to help facilitate decision-making.
3. Adherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production.
4. Providing regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution, and highlighting any escalations.
5. Identifying any opportunities for continuous improvement.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

1. Clear, effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
2. Ability to work well in a team.
3. Strong financial and analytical skills.
4. Customer-facing experience.
5. Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements.
6. Experience in accounting in a logistics or similar industry – desirable.
7. Business partnering experience - desirable.
