Family Assessment and Support Social Worker – Penzance – Cornwall

iPeople SC Solutions is currently recruiting for Family Assessment and Support Social Worker to work for our client based in Penzance, Cornwall.

Require an experienced Social Worker to join Family Assessment & Support Team in Penzance, West Cornwall.

Cornwall Council’s Children and Family Services deliver effective front-line services that safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.

• Experienced social worker with proven experience of working within a frontline statutory children and family team, undertaking social work assessments and completing work with children subject to Child in Need plans, children subject to Child Protection plans and legal proceedings, and children in care.
• Must hold a recognised social work qualification.
• A successful candidate will be one whose commitment and value base drives practice and good outcomes for our children and young people.
• Worker will be required to have own transport and travel across Cornwall.
