Job description

We are seeking an experienced Network Transport Planner to optimise logistics operations.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 12:00-20:30

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan customer deliveries using available software for on-time delivery.
  • Maximize vehicle capacity and efficiency.
  • Ensure profitable vehicle earnings to achieve a healthy margin
  • Maintain safety standards and liaise with other depots/sites.
  • Source and plan backloads to avoid vehicle empty running.
  • Fully understand and meet departmental KPIs and collaborate with team.

Requirements:

  • Compliance with Health and Safety Environmental regulations, Quality standards and company policies.
  • Multi-drop planning experience.
  • Preferably Contrado experience but not required
  • Strong geographical knowledge.
  • Quick learner with TMS proficiency.
  • Driver management skills.
  • Excellent communication and Microsoft Office skills.
