Biology Teacher

Are you a passionate and dedicated Biology teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of scientists? We are working with a vibrant secondary school near Ely, Cambridgeshire, seeking an enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join their team on a long-term supply basis. This begins February 2025.

Duties as a Biology Teacher:

1. Deliver engaging and innovative Biology lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
2. Inspire curiosity and foster a love for science within a supportive and well-resourced department.
3. Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum, tailoring your teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
4. Contribute to the school’s commitment to academic excellence and student well-being.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Qualified Biology Teacher with QTS/QTLS.
2. A degree in Biology or a related subject.
3. Experience teaching Biology to KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).
4. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
5. Enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching science.
