The Role:

The role of the Estimator Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:

1. Estimator position dealing with various industrial and commercial roofing and cladding systems including:
   • Twin-skin / built-up systems
   • Composite panels systems
   • Standing seam systems
   • GRP systems
   • Fibre cement systems
   • Laminated boards
   • Aluminium rainscreen systems
2. Reviewing tender enquiries and specifications to gain an understanding of project requirements
3. Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required
4. Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive prices
5. Producing formal quotations to clients
6. Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
7. Building and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors
8. Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
9. Estimating for projects ranging in value from £5k to £2m

The Ideal Applicant Will Have:

1. Estimating experience within the roofing and cladding market sector
2. Experience dealing with twin-skin / built-up systems, composite panels systems, standing seam systems, GRP systems, fibre cement systems, laminated boards, and aluminium rainscreen systems
3. A good understanding of technical drawings
4. Full UK driving license
5. IT literate (Microsoft Office)
6. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
7. High levels of organisation and attention to detail
8. Enthusiastic team player who works well individually also
