Recruitment Consultant at Marlin Selection

Our client, a leading commodities firm, is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Advisor to join their dynamic team in London, on an initial 6 month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an evolving department within a global organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed assessments of upcoming regulations and their potential impact on business operations.
• Mapping regulatory obligations to business processes and internal controls.
• Supporting the interpretation and analysis of key regulations such as MiFID II, MAR, EMIR, and REMIT.
• Collaborating with internal teams, including Legal, Risk, and Finance, to ensure a cohesive approach to regulatory compliance.
• Leading regulatory reporting and assisting with ad-hoc queries from internal teams.

Experience Required:

• Proven experience in regulatory compliance within the commodities or financial services sector.
• Familiarity with key regulations in energy markets or trading, including MiFID II, MAR, EMIR, and REMIT.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and reporting, with experience in market abuse and trading compliance.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse stakeholders.
