To provide an opportunity for a senior general surgical trainee who has completed their SpR training programme to consolidate skills in managing and delivering a general surgical and emergency service in preparation for a Consultant post.
The post potentially offers wide experience and training in benign and colorectal cancer including all aspects of General Surgery. The post holder will work with a team of 12 experienced Consultant Surgeons supported by a team of 10 registrars, 3 SHOs, and 7 FY1s. The duties of the post include:
