Are you an experienced Recruitment Manager located in Kent? Would you like to be part of a public sector organisation steeped in history?

I am working exclusively with Kent Fire and Rescue Service on a permanent Talent Manager role where you will lead and manage the talent function as they embark on an exciting period of change.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) is a forward-thinking, modern fire and rescue service that aims to create a safer future for Kent and Medway.

Located close to the town of Maidstone, you will be able to work for the organisation on a hybrid basis, going into the office which is a listed building 3-days per week. There is free on-site parking for all staff.

The Talent Manager, paying £47,076 - £52,397, will be responsible for ensuring an engaging and positive candidate experience and promoting a culture of internal talent development and progression within the organisation. You will manage and lead a team of three, developing and empowering them on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and overseeing volume recruitment, including implementing attraction and selection strategies.
  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of recruitment campaigns ensuring procedures are followed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Advising Managers on effective recruitment and selection methods.
  • Reviewing the current processes and procedures, making changes where necessary.
  • Undertaking job analysis in preparation for the job evaluation processes ensuring this is completed in consultation with managers and HR colleagues.
  • Collaborating with HR colleagues to deliver talent management initiatives aligned to the organisation's strategic objectives.
