Senior Design Manager (Civils & Structure)

Location: Cambridge

Pay Rate: £41 per hour

Working Hours: 40 hrs per week - Mon - Fri - Start Time 7am

We're looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

1. 8 years working in a Design Manager role for a Tier 1 Main Contractor in the UK.
2. Experience in delivering major projects in excess of £100M.
3. Experience in delivering design for civil & structural packages in excess of £30M, inclusive of basement construction.
4. Experience in delivering projects now considered as 'High-Risk Buildings' under the Building Safety Act (over 18m and habitable).
5. Degree qualified in a technical subject appropriate for the role - required to demonstrate competence to the Building Safety Regulator as part of approvals under the Building Safety Act.
6. Professionally chartered to a body appropriate for the role - required to demonstrate competence to the Building Safety Regulator as part of approvals under the Building Safety Act.
7. Site based 4 days per week, with flexibility for 1 working from home day - ideally someone within 1 hour of travelling distance to Cambridge.
