About the Role:

In this senior leadership position, you will oversee the full design lifecycle for modular residential projects, from concept through construction. Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will develop imaginative yet practical solutions that address the evolving needs of urban living. Your expertise will significantly influence projects that aim to revolutionise residential design and construction methods.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the architectural design and development of modular residential projects, ensuring innovative and technically robust solutions.
2. Manage multidisciplinary teams by coordinating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
3. Oversee design reviews, quality control, and compliance with UK Building Regulations and industry standards.
4. Drive the conceptual design, feasibility studies, and detailed design processes while balancing creative vision and technical requirements.
5. Mentor junior team members and help develop best practices within the practice.
6. Engage with clients to present design proposals and articulate the project vision effectively.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

1. MMC, DfMA, off-site construction experience hugely beneficial
2. RIBA / ARB qualified with a degree in Architecture and substantial post-qualification experience.
3. Proven track record in leading residential projects, particularly with modular or offsite construction methods.
4. Strong technical proficiency with Revit is essential, combined with a keen eye for design detail.
5. Deep understanding of UK regulatory frameworks and sustainable design practices.
6. Excellent leadership qualities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
7. A portfolio showcasing innovative architectural solutions and successful project delivery.
