Career

Have you started your career in Financial Planning? Have you completed some RO exams on your way to gaining a diploma in Financial Planning? Do you have a good understanding of financial planning administration and strive to make a difference to your advisers and their clients?

About the role

You will play a crucial role in shaping our service delivery within our Fareham office. You will support one to two Advisers, helping them create a great client experience by assisting with diary management, case management, and building client relationships through both Teams calls and face-to-face meetings in the office.

For this role, you must be approachable, organised, and skilled at multitasking with ease.

Accountabilities

  1. Liaise with 3rd party pension and insurance providers and navigate their platforms.
  2. Process new business applications.
  3. Co-ordinate Financial Planner’s diaries and arrange client meetings/reviews.
  4. Collate annual review packs and reports needed for client meetings.
  5. Interact with clients and be the first point of call to help with their questions.
  6. Ensure CRM is updated with all client contact and progress on cases.
  7. Stay up to date on changes to regulations and provider requirements, fully utilising our CRM system (we use Xplan) to enhance our digital financial planning tools.

Skills and Experience

  1. Experience working in a similar role within Wealth Management, Financial Planning, or Financial Services.
  2. Good level of knowledge of financial products including pensions, investments, and protection.
  3. Intermediate Excel skills e.g. Pivot Tables.
  4. Process driven, comfortable with numbers, and highly organised.
  5. Able to look at data and easily find mistakes or information that isn’t quite in the right place.
  6. Enjoy delighting clients with great outcomes.
  7. Want to be part of a team that appreciates you - we know you as a person.
