Junior Procurement Manager - Transformation

Location: Berkshire (Hybrid, 1-2 times per week)

Salary: £40-50,000 plus benefits

As a Junior Procurement Manager, you will support end-to-end category management across various spend areas, both direct and indirect. You'll work collaboratively with stakeholders, assist with competitive tenders, and ensure value is delivered throughout the entire contract lifecycle. What You'll Bring:
  1. Category Management Experience: Proven experience in managing categories from strategy development through to contract management, delivering value across the procurement lifecycle.
  2. Procurement Knowledge: Exposure to both indirect services and direct goods/equipment, with the ambition to expand your expertise.
  3. End-to-End Management: Involvement in all stages of the procurement process, from initial market analysis and supplier selection to contract negotiation and performance management.
  4. Innovative Thinking: A passion for introducing fresh ideas to enhance commercial value and improve procurement processes.
  5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to shape and support procurement strategies that align with broader organisational goals.
  6. Understanding of Pre- and Post-Contract Processes: Experience in managing the full procurement lifecycle, including supplier engagement, contract management, and driving continuous improvement.
