Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in people's homes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the South locality.
  • Support your progression through a District Nursing career progression framework.
  • Provide regular 1:1 support and development, annual appraisal, and group clinical supervision.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Registered General Nurse (adult)
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

Desirable Qualifications

  • NMC Mentor qualification
  • Prescribing qualification

Essential Experience

  • Knowledge around long-term conditions and their management
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Ability to supervise and support a range of individuals including team members, formal and informal carers
  • Demonstrates leadership skills; ability to plan and organise own and others' work

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience of implementation of change
  • Previous Community Services experience
