One of our clients, a reputable name in the buy-side space, is looking to hire a Platform Automation Engineer with experience in Linux administration, automation, and colocation data centre environments.

About the Role

This is a newly created position within a highly skilled engineering team, supporting the firm’s core trading infrastructure. You will work on CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and low-latency trading environments, while also managing on-site hardware across multiple data centres.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Bash.
• Maintain and enhance low-latency infrastructure.
• Perform physical data centre work (racking, stacking, and troubleshooting hardware).
• Collaborate across teams, including networking and security.
• Participate in a 1-in-5 on-call rotation, ensuring smooth operations.
