Job description

We are recruiting for a Legal 500 firm that have an exciting opportunity for an EL/PL Paralegal to become an integral part of their team; you will manage a diverse caseload of EL/PL fixed fee cases for top-tier insurance clients.

As an EL/PL Paralegal, you will:

1. Take charge of a variety of cases, including Pre-action disclosure files, Infant Approval Hearings, and MOJ Stage 3 files, all handled under Delegated Authority.
2. Use your forensic skills to analyse and resolve complex issues within each case.
3. Navigate through intricate legal documents and evidence with precision.
4. Work closely with experienced File Handlers, contributing to the successful management of caseloads.
5. Assist with drafting orders, addressing queries, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

What they are looking for:

1. Some legal work experience is essential.
2. Excellent telephone and written communication skills.
3. Ability to prioritise and manage tasks efficiently.
4. Maintain accuracy even under pressure.
5. Willing to contribute to team goals and client service targets.
6. ILEX or LPC qualifications are desirable.
7. Experience handling EL/PL files and litigation is advantageous.
