Customer Support Advisor

Start Date Required: ASAP

Full Time: Monday – Friday 9am – 6:00pm and two Saturdays per month - 8am-1pm

Contract: fixed term

Salary: £11.00 - £13.00 per hour (subject to experience)

This is a great opportunity to join our fun and friendly team based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. We are a family-run business with over 10 years of industry experience. This is an exciting time to join the company as we continue to expand and grow.

Purpose of Role: As a Customer Support Advisor, you will primarily interact with customers and provide information in response to product or service enquiries. You will communicate with customers in a variety of ways, such as by telephone, by e-mail, or face-to-face.

Customer Support Advisor Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide telephone and email-based support to customers.
  2. Provide industry-leading levels of support to all customers at all times.
  3. Assist with tracking and finding parcels.
  4. Make telephone calls to customers.
  5. Provide feedback to the relevant teams to enhance products and services for clients.
  6. Create FAQs and customer help documentation (in support of the website).
  7. Provide support for an affiliate programme.
  8. Handle claims and problem-solve any issues.
  9. Deal with any queries related to customer orders.
  10. Manage product returns.
  11. Process product repairs.
  12. Respond to customer feedback.
  13. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Environmental, and Data Protection policies.

Customer Support Advisor Skills Required:
  1. Ability to multi-task.
  2. Organized, detail-minded, and have a sense of urgency.
  3. Strong organizational, administrative, and analytical skills.
  4. Strong customer service skills.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  6. Ability to handle customer complaints in a smooth and professional manner.
