Job Description
Policy and Public Affairs Officer Milton Keynes
Responsibilities:
Contribute daily to the charity's advocacy and policy work.
Conduct research and analysis to drive the charity's policy agenda.
Engage with a wide range of stakeholders including parliamentarians, other charities, and wider sector stakeholders.
Represent the charity at events, conferences, and forums.
Assist in report preparations and present findings to a range of audiences.
Write briefings and contribute to the writing of responses to government papers and consultations.
Work closely with other teams to keep up-to-date with developments online and in the news.
The Successful Applicant
Policy and Public Affairs Officer Milton Keynes
Essential:
Working knowledge of Westminster and Whitehall.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to a range of audiences.
Ability to manage a heavy workload and meet tight deadlines.
Experience working in policy and public affairs.
Availability to travel from time to time - either in the UK or abroad.
