Job Title: CNC Turner

Location: Titchfield

Job type: Contract till end Dec 2025

Rate: £17.52 PAYE per hour increasing to £18.05 after 12 weeks

Overtime paid at a premium of time and a half, double pay on Sundays.

Hours: 07:30-16:15, Monday-Thursday, 07:30-11:30 Friday

Are you an experienced CNC Turner who wants to work for an exciting, world-leading company? We are looking for a CNC Turner who is hardworking with great attention to detail within the manufacturing industry.

Key role of a CNC Turner:

1. Set up and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision components.
2. Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to produce parts to specified tolerances.
3. Select and set up appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
4. Perform machine setups and tool changes efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
5. Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure they meet specifications.
6. Conduct regular in-process checks to ensure components maintain dimensional accuracy.

The CNC Turner should have the following skills and experience:

1. Proven experience as a CNC Turner or similar role in precision machining.
2. Experienced working in Aerospace (not essential).
3. Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
4. Able to follow and understand engineering drawings.
5. Great attention to detail.
