Process Production Operator

Production Operator required. My client is a leading manufacturer of resins and polymers to a range of industries globally. They are now looking for a Production Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will come from a Chemical manufacturing background, be familiar with sampling and product testing, will have an understanding of Chemical processes and will be based locally to Lamberhead.

Production Process Operator - Job Overview

1. Ensuring all batch process and operational activities are carried out in compliance with HSEQ requirements
2. Manufacturing products according to formulation batch sheets and specifications
3. Making accurate additions or adjustments to processes
4. Responding to required corrective and preventative action in a timely manner
5. Monitoring of raw materials requirements and informing supervisors when finished products are suitably packaged
6. Participating in Design / Hazard reviews

Production Process Operator - Job Requirements

1. Previous experience working in a Chemical Process role
2. Any previous experience on a COMAH site advantageous
3. An understanding of Chemical processes
4. An understanding of sampling and product testing
5. Experienced in troubleshooting production equipment and process
6. Experience operating Forklift Trucks
7. NVQ Level 2 in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering desirable
8. IOSH desirable
9. Valid Forklift licence (Reach or Counterbalance)
10. Based within a commutable distance of Lamberhead.

Production Process Operator - Salary & Benefits

1. £12.50 per hour for 50 hours. Anything over 50 hours is paid at a premium rate of £16.50 per hour.
2. Monday - Friday: 06:00 - 16:00
3. 33 Days holiday inclusive of public holidays
4. BUPA
5. Pension
