Position: Tax Senior
Location: Bristol, WFH 2 days
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Benefits
Type: Full-time, Permanent

This reputable firm of Chartered Accountants & Tax Advisers is seeking a talented and experienced Tax Senior to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Tax Senior to provide exceptional service to a diverse range of clients and further their career in a supportive environment.

Role Overview:

As a Tax Senior, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. Key responsibilities for the Tax Senior include:

1. Managing a portfolio of clients and providing comprehensive tax compliance and advisory support.


2. Preparing and reviewing complex tax computations and returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.


3. Developing tailored tax strategies to optimize clients' tax positions and ensure compliance with UK tax legislation.


4. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.


5. Liaising with HMRC and handling tax inquiries and disputes on behalf of clients.


6. Supporting and mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and technical expertise.

What We're Looking For:

1. ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong background in tax.


2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.


3. In-depth knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements.


4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex tax matters clearly to clients.


5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to work.
