Job description

Pioneer climate positive user experiences

We are looking for a product designer to help us delight our customers & deliver climate positive experiences. Our mission is to empower any company to embed climate action seamlessly into their product offering so they can accelerate positive impact and grow revenue — fast. Lune offers the API and software tools for embedded emissions calculations, emissions reductions, and carbon removal offsetting.

We are a remote-first team with an office in central London. We have raised $7.5m in seed funding from Crane, 13books, and leading angel investors, such as the founder of N26, founder of Voi, founder of OysterHR.

If you’re a talented product designer who cares about tackling the climate crisis, we’d love to work with you!

This role is a unique opportunity to be a core part of Lune’s core team, to have a real impact on our mission and to define and scale the company into the future.

As we grow, you’ll have the opportunity to take on new responsibilities and help build a great company while tackling the greatest challenge of our time.

What you’ll do
  • Deliver designs for new products, new features, and improve existing functionality end-to-end, pushing the boundaries beyond industry-standard user experiences
  • Collaborate with PM on user research to deeply understand customers' goals & pain points
  • Translate insights into designs that solve customer problems, optimise customer journeys, and create delightful new customer experiences
  • Work closely with engineers throughout the implementation stage to ensure high quality designs in the final product
  • Collaborate with marketing to create assets for website, social media, white papers, etc.
  • Own and maintain Lune's brand and design system
You will fit this role if you
  • Are enthusiastic about your work and have a can-do attitude
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to deal with ambiguity (and thrive) in a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoy making decisions that have a real impact
  • Are passionate about tackling the climate crisis
Desirable skills and experience
  • 4-6 years of UI/UX design experience, ideally with a B2B focus
  • Proficiency in Figma, and any other design tools
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design
  • Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and how designs are translated into code
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead projects independently, with guidance from other stakeholders
  • Curious and proactive attitude
What we offer
  • Equity, as one of the core team members
  • Competitive salary
  • Comprehensive health insurance
  • 25 days of holiday
  • 2-3 team get togethers / offsites per year
  • Flexible working: office in central London, come in when you please, work from home if you like
