CNC Programmer & Operator

We are seeking a skilled 5-Axis CNC Programmer & Operator with extensive experience in high-precision machining for the motorsport sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating 5-axis CNC machines to produce complex components to exacting specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program, set up, and operate 5-axis CNC machines to manufacture precision components.
2. Develop efficient CNC programs using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, HyperMill, Siemens NX, or similar).
3. Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documents to ensure compliance with specifications.
4. Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies to optimize production efficiency.
5. Conduct thorough first-off inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production quality and minimize downtime.
7. Work closely with design engineers, production teams, and quality assurance personnel to achieve optimal results.
8. Maintain and monitor machine performance, tool life, and maintenance schedules to ensure operational efficiency.
9. Ensure compliance with health & safety protocols and industry regulations.
10. And other reasonable requests that may be made by the Company or your Line Manager.
