Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to work with our public sector client.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Location: 3 days a week on site & two remote in Cambridgeshire

The ideal candidates will have a proven Senior Infrastructure Engineer background within public sector experience, ideally holding active SC clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Dell Avamar and Data Domain backup solutions, running on Dell IDPA.
2. Experience of VMware suite, preferably VMware Cloud Foundation on Dell VxRails.
3. Microsoft Active Directory, Tier Model, Least Privilege Access, PAM, GPOs, DNS.
4. Understanding the principles of Zero Trust Architecture.
5. Experience with creating technical designs, documentation, and policies.
6. Experience of delivery within a technical axis utilizing both Agile and stage-gated Waterfall project delivery assurance methodologies.

Desirable Skills:

1. VMware NSX-T, Horizon, AppVolumes.
2. VMware vRealize Suite, Automation, Operations, Log Insight and Lifecycle Management.
3. Programming/Scripting Infrastructure as Code and Testing.
4. Experience of full stack Atlassian suite.
5. Knowledge of IT Service Management tools i.e. PRTG, SolarWinds, JIRA, ServiceNow, LogRhythm.
