FSI Specialist, Banking, EMEA FSI GTM

DESCRIPTION

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Worldwide Financial Services team is looking for an experienced Financial Services Specialist (Banking) to join our fast-paced team and help drive AWS adoption in the Financial Services industry in the UK. As a Banking Specialist, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team focused on increasing technology adoption of cloud computing by engaging with executives and influencers at all levels. You will work closely with teams across AWS to build relationships with financial institutions, from FinTech startups to the largest global financial entities in the world.

Key Responsibilities

1. Understand the needs of Banking customers and overall trends in the industry.
2. Develop business cases, analyze project goals, and create plans to achieve those goals.
3. Drive AWS team members, stakeholders/SMEs, and potentially other third-parties to achieve project goals.
4. Plan and lead business development initiatives through understanding customers and key solutions vendors.
5. Identify and manage risks, resolve issues, and escalate where appropriate to drive initiatives to successful completion.

The Global Financial Services team focuses on the largest FSI customers that typically operate across multiple continents and regulatory jurisdictions. The customers are managed on a global basis, and you will be responsible for Regional Operating Entities of FSIs or a line-of-business, as part of a cross-functional team dedicated to each customer.

1. Bachelor's degree
2. Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
3. Experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.

1. Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner.
2. Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.
