Assistant Manager - Technology and Transformation Services

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Tax Technology and Transformation Services within the Digital Services Department in London, which is responsible for providing a range of services including systems and process transformation, automation solutions including robotic process automation and machine learning, data analytical solutions, systems reviews, systems implementations, compliance and reporting services, and much more.

As an Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include among others:

  • Manage and deliver a variety of client projects including: Building and deployment of technology strategies, improving the quality of commercial and financial data, and implementing software tools; configuring software solutions along with process improvement that supports compliance processes automation.
  • Undertake tactical automation working with datasets.
  • Maintain internal, external, and vendor relationships to generate new project opportunities.
  • Support the operational management of the team, such as appraisal and learning and development.

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Experience of technology tools such as:
    • Power BI and/or Tableau
    • Alteryx and/or Caseware IDEA
  • Experience in Business Consulting, Data Analytics, or Finance/Tax Technology.
  • Experience of managing the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects with a business-driven approach.
  • Experience of coaching and developing more junior team members.
  • Ability to delegate appropriately and carry out effective reviews.
  • Good time management when working across a portfolio of projects.
  • Proven ability to analyse and create innovative solutions to problems.

Professional Qualifications and Education:

• Accounting, Tax, IT, or other professional qualifications.
