Job description

Principal Clinical/Forensic Psychologist with Sponsorship

This position comes with sponsorship if you are in the UK, have the correct experience, and are looking to switch sponsor. PLEASE do not apply if you are NOT in the UK.

  • Location: Thatcham, Berkshire
  • Role Type: Principal Clinical/Forensic Psychologist
  • Services Provided: Medium and low secure services, rehabilitation flats, and Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICUs).

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Deputise for the Lead Psychologist.
  2. Support service development and provide clinical supervision.
  3. Offer 1:1 and group interventions.
  4. Contribute to multidisciplinary team care planning and research.
  5. Engage in continuous professional development (CPD).

Requirements:

  1. Doctorate in Psychology (BPS accredited and HCPC approved).
  2. HCPC registration and eligibility for Chartered Membership of the BPS.
  3. Experience with psychological assessments and treatments for complex needs within secure or PICU services.
