Deutsche Bank is subject to global regulation and controls related to the appropriate management and retention of employee email, business messaging and voice recordings. The Chief Data Office, Records Retention & Disposal team is in place to maintain Controls, Policy and Operational management of the population of global employees who fall into scope for specific regulatory retention of all electronic communications.
You will be responsible for governance of the policy and controls for separate processes, email retention, business messaging retention and attestation and voice retention. Each of these individual areas have ongoing periodic governance that requires effective relationships with divisions across the bank, including business compliance, group legal and divisions.
You will drive strategic design and implementation of the Electronic and Voice Communications Records Management controls across the bank.

Your key responsibilities:- Driving the ECOM (Email / Voice and Business Messaging) control operational processes including refinements of existing process leveraging automation and extension to new scopes and connected processes.
- Driving design and implementation of enhancements to existing governance and procedures, defining records management requirements, validating enhancements with stakeholders and delivery of changes into the production governance framework.
- Managing ECOM governance approvals for email/voice and business messaging that typically require quarterly business oversight and approvals, working very closely with divisional Business Information Records officers to ensure effective control frameworks.
- Designing and embedding KPIs / KRIs to be used by stakeholders to track progress and identify areas that require further change / remediation.
- Partnering with technology and group architecture to design and implement automation of processes. Leading the rollout for the automated solutions across the organisation, including prioritization, user communication and training, progress monitoring and reporting.
- Managing the ECOM email / voice and business messaging team.
Your skills and experience:- Extensive, in-depth and experience in Data, Technology, Risk and/or Compliance. Strong knowledge of Banking technology and governance requirements is also a plus.
- Demonstrable experience in building and managing high performing teams.
- Solid experience in designing and managing control processes, including identifying opportunities to apply technology to manual processes and working with IT partners on implementation of automated solutions.
- Excellent organisational skills and a high attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and to deliver to tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrable ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
