CNC Millers & CNC Horizontal Borers (Heidenhain Controllers)

Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum
Positions Available:

1. 3 x CNC Millers (Heidenhain Controllers)
2. 3 x CNC Horizontal Borers (Heidenhain Controllers)

1. CNC Millers:
   1. Set, operate, and program CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls.
   2. Produce high-precision components to exact specifications and engineering drawings.
   3. Perform quality checks and inspections on finished parts to ensure they meet required standards.
2. CNC Horizontal Borers:
   1. Set, operate, and program CNC horizontal boring machines using Heidenhain controls.
   2. Machine large, complex components with precision, following engineering specifications.
   3. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain accuracy and consistency.
3. General Duties for Both Roles:
   1. Tooling & Setup: Efficiently set up and change tools as needed to maximize productivity.
   2. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, programs, or components.
   3. Maintenance: Maintain and care for CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
   4. Health & Safety: Adhere to company safety standards and maintain a clean working environment.

1. Proven experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Horizontal Borer, working with Heidenhain controllers.
2. Strong understanding of CNC machining, programming, and tooling.
3. A high level of precision and a commitment to quality workmanship.
4. Willingness to work shifts, if required, and adapt to production demands.
