Welder

Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a Welder for our client based in Rotherham.

Welder Benefits:

1. Rate of pay: £16.33 per hour plus overtime premium
2. Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm and Friday 7am to 12 noon
3. Location: Rotherham
4. Contract: Temp to Permanent after 12 weeks
5. Start date: Immediate

Welder Role:

To ensure success as a Welder, you should have advanced knowledge of mild and stainless Steel, a good eye for detail, and excellent mathematical skills. Ultimately, a top-class Welder who expertly constructs high-quality products to exact specifications.

Welder Responsibilities:

1. Welding mild and stainless steel
2. Reading and interpreting engineering 2D & 3D Drawings
3. Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines
4. Ensuring that all required parts for assembly are present
5. Double-checking design specifications before commencing with work
6. Grinding and finishing completed products
7. Performing quality checks on completed products
8. Conforming to company Health & Safety regulations
9. Completing quality check sheets

Welder Requirements:

1. Previous work experience as a MIG/TIG Welder
2. Previous experience working with mild and stainless steel
3. Advanced knowledge of engineering design and manufacturing procedures
4. Ability to read and interpret engineering 2D & 3D Drawings
5. Proficiency with metal fabrication tools
6. Advanced mathematical and engineering skills
7. Ability to lift and manipulate metal objects
8. Able to stand for long periods
